Fareonics.com aims for transparency in refunds, exchanges and cancellations. By booking through our site you agree to the terms below. Unless an airline or supplier permits otherwise, service and convenience fees charged by Fareonics.com are non-refundable.
1. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are processed only if you request cancellation through Fareonics.com and the fare rules permit refunds.
- No-shows are generally not eligible for refunds or waivers.
- We will process refund requests only after receiving approval/waiver from the airline or supplier.
2. Timeline for Refunds
Refund timelines depend on the supplier and your bank. Typical ranges are:
- Refunds may take 60–90 days in some cases (from request initiation to reflection in your account).
- For cancellations within the airline’s void window, refunds may be processed faster (24–72 business hours).
- After the void window, refunds often take 4–5 business weeks but may take longer depending on financial institutions.
If a refund is accidentally issued twice, you must return the excess amount to Fareonics.com.
3. How Refunds Are Processed
- Raise a cancellation request by calling our customer service team.
- We will acknowledge your request by email (acknowledgement is not a confirmation of refund eligibility).
- Fareonics.com will coordinate with the airline/supplier to request any applicable waivers.
- Once the supplier responds, we will notify you of the decision. If approved, refund processing begins to the original payment method.
Note: Service fees charged by Fareonics.com during the original booking are non-refundable. Refund fees are charged per ticket/per passenger unless the supplier waives them.
4. Refund Against Cancellation (24-Hour Rule)
If you cancel by calling our team within 24 hours before scheduled departure, your refund request will follow the airline’s refund policy. Timing to receive refunds varies by whether cancellation falls inside the airline’s void window or outside it.
5. Exchange & Cancellation Rules
- Most confirmed airline tickets are non-refundable.
- In some cases airlines may permit cancellations if requested ≥24 hours before departure.
- Partially used tickets (one-way or multi-city segments used) are typically non-refundable.
- Non-refundable tickets may be exchanged for a new ticket at equal or higher fare (not for a lower fare), subject to airline rules and penalties.
- Exchange/modify typically involves airline penalties, fare differences, and our service/change fee.
6. Modifications & Processing Time
Requests to change travel dates or itinerary details are subject to airline approval. Processing modification requests may take up to 72 hours. Fareonics.com is not responsible for losses due to modification delays or for decisions made directly by airlines when customers contact them outside our process.
7. Medical & Emergency Cancellations
If you cannot travel due to medical reasons after booking:
- Refundable tickets: may be cancelled by paying airline penalty + Fareonics.com service fee (subject to airline approval).
- Changeable tickets: may be modified by paying airline penalty, fare difference and our service fee.
- Some airlines allow ticket hold/open status for future travel — check airline rules for validity and expiry.
8. Service Fees
Fareonics.com may charge a per-ticket service fee for cancellations, changes or exchanges. Airline penalties, fare differences and service fees vary by airline, fare type and route. Contact our support team for the current service fee schedule.
We may offer a 24-hour free cancellation on certain partner bookings — terms apply.
9. Important Notes & Liability
Fareonics.com acts solely as an intermediary between you and travel suppliers. Final decisions on refunds, waivers, penalties and credits are made by the supplier (airline/hotel/car rental). We will always advocate on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee supplier decisions.
Always contact Fareonics.com first for cancellations or changes. If you contact a supplier directly and they modify or cancel your booking, our ability to help may be limited.
